Editorial policy

orvanti.online publishes guides to video games. We also carry advertising, and some of the links on this site earn us money. This page sets out how the two are kept apart, what we will and will not print, and what to do when we get something wrong.
1. Who publishes this site
orvanti.online is published by BRILLARE s.r.o., Zrzavého 1705/2a, Řepy, 163 00 Praha 6, Czech Republic, company number 05563607. Lisa Richardson is responsible for editorial content. Full operator details are on the legal notice page.
We are independent of the games we write about. We are not owned by, funded by or editorially directed by any game publisher, and no publisher is given sight of an article before it is posted.
2. What we publish, and what we refuse to
Our rule is simple: if a claim cannot be traced to a source a reader could check for themselves, it does not go on the page. In practice that means we do publish:
- Game mechanics that the game itself documents — in-game help text, skill descriptions, tutorials and the publisher’s own official pages.
- Platform, price and age-rating information, with a pointer to the store listing where the reader can confirm it.
- Our own reasoning and opinion, clearly written as opinion rather than as fact.
- Original diagrams and illustrations that we have made ourselves, labelled as such.
And it means we do not publish:
- Drop rates, pull odds or other probabilities that we cannot confirm from the publisher.
- Player counts, download counts, revenue figures or “most popular” claims taken from marketing copy.
- Tier lists or “best champion” rankings presented as objective fact.
- Testimonials, reader stories, star ratings or reviews that did not come from a real, identified person. We do not invent them and we do not buy them.
- Any suggestion that playing a game will earn money, win prizes or produce a financial result.
- Screenshots, artwork or text lifted from a game or a publisher without permission. Every image on this site is our own work.
3. How advertising is kept separate
Advertising pays for this site, and we would rather say so plainly than bury it. The separation works like this:
- Every paid link is labelled “partner link” in text the reader can see, next to the link itself — not only in a footer.
- Every paid link carries
rel="sponsored nofollow"so that search engines and other automated readers can identify it as paid. - An advertising disclosure appears at the top of every page, above the point where a reader would have to scroll.
- Commercial arrangements do not decide what we write. An advertiser cannot buy a section, a recommendation, or the removal of an inconvenient fact.
- We do not accept payment to remove or alter a correction.
The commercial relationship itself is described in the affiliate disclosure.
4. Sourcing and dating
Guides carry a publication date and a “last checked” date. The second one is the one that matters: live games change, and a guide that was accurate in March may not be accurate in September. Where an article relies on outside information, the sources are listed at the foot of that article.
Where we describe a mechanic without quoting exact numbers, that is deliberate: it means we could confirm that the mechanic exists but not the figures attached to it.
5. Corrections
We would rather be corrected than be wrong. If you spot an error, email info@orvanti.online with the page and the problem. We aim to reply within five working days.
- A factual error is fixed as soon as we have confirmed it, and the “last checked” date is updated.
- Where a correction changes the substance of what we told readers, we say what changed at the foot of the article rather than quietly editing it away.
- Where we cannot confirm either version, we remove the claim instead of picking a side.
6. Use of AI tools
Automated writing tools may be used to draft or restructure text. Nothing is published without a human editor checking it against the sources, and responsibility for everything on this site rests with BRILLARE s.r.o. and no one else.
7. Complaints
If you are unhappy with something we have published, write to info@orvanti.online or to BRILLARE s.r.o., Zrzavého 1705/2a, Řepy, 163 00 Praha 6, Czech Republic. If your complaint concerns how we have handled your personal data, the privacy policy explains your rights and names the supervisory authority you can escalate to.
