2. What we process, and when

Always, because the site cannot be served without it. Our web server records the request it answers: your IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring URL, and your browser and operating system as reported by your browser. These server logs are kept short-term for security and troubleshooting.

Always, but only on your own device. When you answer the consent banner we store your answer in your browser’s local storage under the key orvanti_consent_v1. It records which categories you allowed and when. It is not an identifier, it is not transmitted to us, and it is what stops the banner asking again on every page.

Only if you consent. If you enable the “Advertising & referral measurement” category, the Microsoft Advertising UET tag is loaded and may set identifiers so that a click on one of our adverts can be matched to a visit; and our affiliate partner may set an identifier so that a referral can be credited to us. If you enable “Analytics”, aggregate usage measurement is loaded. Neither is loaded before you choose. The cookie policy lists each item, its provider and its lifetime.

We do not ask for your name, email address, date of birth or payment details anywhere on this site, and we do not knowingly collect special-category data as defined in Article 9 GDPR.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with no explanation and at no detriment, using Cookie settings in the footer of any page. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place while consent was valid.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object under Article 21 GDPR by writing to info@orvanti.online.

4. Who receives it

  • Our hosting provider, which operates the server that answers your request and therefore necessarily processes log data on our behalf as a processor.
  • Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd / Microsoft Corporation, if and only if you have consented to advertising measurement, as the provider of the Microsoft Advertising UET tag.
  • Our affiliate network, if and only if you have consented, and only to the extent needed to attribute a referral.
  • Public authorities, where we are legally obliged to disclose.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s independent marketing purposes.

5. Transfers outside the EEA

Some recipients process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission where one covers the recipient — for example the EU–US Data Privacy Framework — or otherwise on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with additional safeguards. You may ask us for a copy of the safeguards used.

6. How long we keep it

  • Server logs: up to 30 days, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Consent record on your device: up to 182 days, after which the banner asks again. You can delete it sooner by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
  • Consent-based advertising and analytics identifiers: for the lifetimes shown in the cookie policy, and no longer than the provider states.
  • Correspondence you send us: for as long as needed to deal with it, and then for as long as we must keep a record of having dealt with it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • ask whether we process data about you and obtain a copy (Art. 15);
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
  • have data erased (Art. 17);
  • have processing restricted (Art. 18);
  • receive data you provided in a portable form (Art. 20);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21);
  • withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)); and
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).

To exercise any of these, email info@orvanti.online. We will respond within one month, and will tell you if we need longer. We do not charge for this. Note that where we hold nothing but a short-lived server log entry, there may be nothing we can link to you.

The Czech supervisory authority is the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, Czech Republic (uoou.gov.cz). You may also complain to the authority in the EU or EEA country where you live or work.

8. Automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects for you or similarly significantly affects you, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

9. Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly process personal data of anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided data to us, write to info@orvanti.online and we will delete it.

10. Opting out of personalised advertising generally

Independently of this site, you can opt out of interest-based advertising across many networks at:

11. Changes

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the effective date at the top. Where a change requires it, we will ask for your consent again.
